In 2016, our president, Kelli Brooks, volunteered in a homeless shelter. She was transformed by the experience and wanted to do something more.

Kelli wanted to have a one-stop shop to take care of the needs of homeless people. Through her volunteer work, she was able to ask them what they need, which led to her concept of giving a backpack with the items that they mentioned.
